We stand for an active, healthy and engaged youth
We are launching the BIP Project (Wellbeing, Inclusion and Participation) with the collaboration and support of the Youth Department of the Region of Murcia. This is an innovative initiative aimed at improving the wellbeing, inclusion, and active participation of young people in our community. Over the course of nine months, we will carry out activities designed to strengthen their physical and emotional health, promote civic engagement, and raise awareness about environmental sustainability.
Why was the BIP Project created?
In our community, many young people face challenges such as social exclusion, mental health issues, lack of spaces for civic participation, and a disconnection from the environment. To address these needs, we have developed a comprehensive project that over nine months will implement initiatives to boost youth wellbeing and their active role in society.
Four action areas to transform realities
The project is structured around four key themes, each addressed through workshops, outdoor activities, forums, and community impact projects:
A project built by and for everyone
B.I.P. follows a participatory methodology, where young people are the main actors at every stage—from planning to evaluation. We use experiential and non-formal learning methods, including interactive workshops, open discussions and practical projects that promote youth empowerment and leadership.
We also work closely with local organisations and educational centres to create synergies that amplify the project’s impact.
We evaluate, learn and improve
To ensure our actions have real impact, we carry out ongoing, participatory evaluation of every activity. We use creative tools that allow young people to express how they feel, what they’ve learned, and how the experience inspires them to take action. These evaluations help us adapt the project in real time and ensure each experience truly contributes to their wellbeing, social engagement and environmental awareness.
Who is it for?
B.I.P. will directly benefit between 80 and 120 young people aged 16 to 30, as well as the wider local community of Murcia through its indirect impact—promoting collaboration networks, strengthening social cohesion, and encouraging a culture of wellbeing and sustainability.
